Textured White 12x24

A white abstract, mixed media painting that is deeply textured. This is a very contemporary piece that has been painted solely in white. I sculpted sections of texture paste and plaster, which was then sealed and covered in layers of professional quality white acrylic and glazes. The white paint allows the natural shadows and highlights to be clearly shown and create a very unique piece. I love the tactile nature of textured paintings and for this artwork I wanted the texture itself to be the subject.
